We recently completed the move to a larger home with more bedrooms to accommodate our growing family - we think sharing rooms growing up teaches kids lots of healthy things about sharing and relationships and compromise, but wanted the option to expand, as we hope that we will be blessed with more children in the next few years!
Richard is very handy with hammer, saw and basically every other tool (says Letty) so he is currently spending Saturday's renovating our old house prior to sale. Letty LOVE's creative wall decals in children's bedrooms, and is currently in process of recreating her old reading nook for the children's bedroom. And of course, the welcome mat was one of the first decor items to get just right.
Our home has a large, lovely fenced and private backyard, perfect for hosting BBQs, baby showers, birthday parties, and cub scouting events. In the summer we roll out the kiddie splash pool, slip in slide and super-soakers, as well as the inflateable body balls for WWF sumo-style. The kids run around in a wild pack playing T-Rex with Richard, and having a grand 'ol time. Having the house on a very quiet cul de sac has opened up a whole new world of bike-riding bliss!
